I am a life coaching influencer in social media with over 10K followers, and I would like to build upon my follower community by offering paid products. I have seen other coaches been successful with selling a variety of products to their followers, including but not limited to:
- Paid courses
- Templates and web tools
- 1:1 coaching sessions
- Group coaching sessions
I would like to hear which of these options might appeal to you and any other feedback you have to help me decide what direction to go in. Thank you!
I imagine what product you go with may depend on your follower base, but IMO, I would lean towards paid courses and templates and web tools. As someone who follows a few influencers on insta, I don’t know that I’d buy a product from them unless I knew I could immediately get value from it, e.g., from a template I can use or from a course I can apply to something I’m doing in my life or at work. The other products, like coaching, would probably show value over time but also have more intangible value, so that might be harder to market or sell.
I would agree with this! In particular, I think templates could be the most helpful, and you could also show a preview of your templates on your account to draw people in. I’d also recommend collecting feedback from those who purchase and refreshing the templates every once in a while!
Agree with this! There are so many influencers out there: try to think about what sets you apart and how to bring a valuable product for your followers from there.
Agree with all of the above! I think there’s a lot of value in narrowing down and focusing on the core products you can provide really well. From there, you can expand and listen to your followers’ feedback on what worked and what didn’t. Good luck!
